Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 21, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your money when you stop a subscription. It separates two situations that are genuinely different in law: a consumer buying for personal use, and a business buying for its trade. Consumers have rights that cannot be signed away, and this policy does not try to.

If anything here conflicts with a mandatory right you have under the law of your country, that right wins and we will honour it.

1. Which rules apply to you

The difference matters, so it is stated first.

If you gave a company name or a tax number at checkout, we treat you as a business customer. If that is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will correct it and apply the consumer terms.

  • You are a consumer if you are an individual buying outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Sections 3, 4 and 5 apply to you.
  • You are a business customer if you buy in the course of your trade or business — a print shop, a service bureau, an agency, a company account. Section 6 applies to you.

2. How your subscription is structured

Understanding the refund rules requires knowing what you bought, so we state it plainly rather than leaving it to be inferred.

Because the contract is of indefinite duration, you may end it at any time without giving a reason. What differs between consumers and business customers is what happens to the part of the period you have paid for but not used.

  • A Quote3D subscription runs for an indefinite period and is billed in advance for each monthly period until you cancel it.
  • It is not a fixed-term commitment. There is no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation penalty.
  • It renews automatically at the end of each monthly period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

3. Cancelling — consumers

Cancel from the billing area of your dashboard. Cancelling is a single action in the same place you subscribed: we do not require a phone call, an email, a reason, or a notice period. If you ever find cancellation harder than subscribing, that is a fault on our side — tell us and we will fix it.

Your cancellation takes effect when you submit it. We stop future billing immediately.

You may also cancel by writing to [email protected], or on paper to our registered address. Any of these is enough; we do not require a particular form.

4. What you get back — consumers

On cancellation we refund the unused part of the period you have already paid for, calculated to the day, with no deduction and no administration fee.

Example, so the arithmetic is not a surprise: on a 30-day period costing 29.00 in your billing currency, cancelling after 10 days refunds 20 days, which is 19.33. We do not round against you.

We pay the refund within 15 days of the cancellation taking effect, to the payment method you used. Your bank or card issuer may take several further days to show it.

This is the rule regardless of how much of the service you used during the days you are charged for. We charge for elapsed time, not for the number of quotes you produced.

Where the law of your country gives you a longer period or a larger refund than this, you get that instead. Turkish consumers: this section reflects Article 52 of Law No. 6502, under which the remaining part of the fee is refunded without deduction within 15 days.

5. The 14-day withdrawal right — consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK

Separately from cancelling, you have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason.

At checkout we ask you to expressly request that the service starts during those 14 days, and to acknowledge that once the contract has been fully performed you will no longer have a withdrawal right. That request is what lets us start immediately instead of making you wait two weeks.

If you withdraw within the 14 days after making that request, you pay only an amount in proportion to what was provided up to the moment you told us, and we refund the rest.

If you did not make that express request, or if we failed to give you the information the law requires, you bear no cost at all for the period before you withdrew, and we refund the fee in full.

To withdraw, write to [email protected] or use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU. You do not have to use the form; any clear statement is enough. We will confirm receipt without delay.

We refund using the same payment method you used, without any fee for doing so.

6. Cancelling — business customers

You may cancel at any time from the billing area. Cancellation stops future renewals.

Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and that period is not refunded. Business customers contract on these terms freely, and the mandatory consumer protections in sections 4 and 5 do not apply.

If a plan was mis-sold, if we failed to deliver the service, or if you were billed in error, that is a different matter — write to us and we will put it right.

7. Changing plans

Upgrading or downgrading mid-period is handled by proration: you are charged or credited the difference for the remainder of the period rather than being charged twice.

A downgrade does not produce a cash refund; it reduces what you owe going forward. If you want money back rather than a lower plan, cancel instead.

8. Failed payments and disputed charges

If a renewal payment fails, our payment provider retries it over a short period. During that time your access continues and your subscription shows as past due. If every retry fails, the subscription ends and access stops.

If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact us before contacting your bank. A charge from us appears on your statement under our payment provider's name rather than ours, which is the most common reason a charge looks unfamiliar. We can usually resolve it the same day; a chargeback takes weeks and costs us a fee, so we would rather just refund you.

We do not refuse a lawful refund in order to avoid a chargeback, and we do not suspend an account for asking for one.

9. What is not refundable

For completeness, these are the only things we do not refund:

  • Time you have already had. Elapsed days of a paid period are not returned, to consumers or to business customers.
  • Amounts charged by your own bank, such as a currency conversion cost, which never reached us.
  • Nothing else. We do not have restocking fees, cancellation fees, or minimum-use charges.

10. How to reach us, and what to do if you disagree

Cancellation, refund and billing questions: [email protected]. We reply within 5 business days, and sooner where a statutory deadline is running.

If we refuse a refund and you think we are wrong, say so and we will review it. Nothing in this policy takes away your right to go further.

Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or Consumer Court according to the monetary thresholds in force at the time. Consumers in the EU may use the out-of-court dispute resolution channels available in their country.
