What you get

  • Backend-verified price

    Wix asks for the price on every cart and checkout update through an eCommerce Catalog service plugin, so the line always carries the quote total.

  • One line per quote

    The whole print job is one cart line at quantity 1, with pieces, technology, material, colour and file as description lines.

  • Colour stock sync

    With a server token, stock is checked before adding, taken when an order is paid and returned when it is cancelled or refunded.

  • Model file cleanup

    An optional daily job deletes model files 7 days after the order is fulfilled.

  • Follows the site language

    The configurator and the cart messages follow your site's display language, in nine languages.

  • Managed from the Quote3D dashboard

    Wix cannot host admin pages, so quotes, materials and stock are managed in your Quote3D dashboard.

Requirements

  • Wix Stores and a Premium plan that accepts payments
  • Velo Dev Mode (Wix Editor) or Start Coding (Wix Studio)
  • Access to Wix's eCommerce Catalog service plugin (beta)
  • A paid Quote3D plan

Installation

  1. 1Add your widget token to the Secrets Manager as QUOTE3D_API_TOKEN.
  2. 2Create a Catalog service plugin named quote3d, paste the package files, publish, and save the appId as QUOTE3D_CATALOG_APP_ID.
  3. 3Add an Embed HTML element with the ID quote3dWidget and paste the page code.
  4. 4Optional: add QUOTE3D_SERVER_TOKEN and the event files for stock sync and file cleanup.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the cart line not show the model thumbnail?
Wix accepts line images only from its Media Manager, and Quote3D thumbnails are hosted elsewhere.
Do coupons apply to quote lines?
No. Wix does not support coupons for external catalog items yet.
Can I test in the editor preview?
No. Catalog plugins and backend events run only on the published site.
Can shoppers change the price?
No. The price comes from the catalog plugin on Wix's backend on every cart and checkout update.
